While this might be seen as a blow because the <strong>big V8 roars<\/strong> with a unique and <strong>impressive<\/strong> sound, the company will be <strong>lauded<\/strong> for its solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not only is the 2.0-litre to replace the V8, but it will also work in tandem with a <strong>48V<\/strong> battery system that will create a total output of over <strong>400kW<\/strong>, which is where the current C 63 S is in power terms. Add to that will be the <strong>4Matic<\/strong> all-wheel-drive (<strong>AWD<\/strong>) system, another first for the C 63. Essentially all this will make the car a <strong>mild hybrid<\/strong>, the only one in the segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We understand where <strong>Mercedes-AMG<\/strong> is going with this, given the European government <strong>pressures<\/strong> to <strong>electrify<\/strong> cars right now. We just wonder if there will be the same <strong>drama<\/strong> and similar <strong>aural theatre<\/strong> from the <strong>4-pot<\/strong> that the V8 has been offering customers.
