With electric cars<\/strong> currently under pressure<\/strong> in markets where they have been quite strong, Porsche<\/strong> is one of the manufacturers feeling some heat. Regardless, development<\/strong> work is well advanced with the upcoming<\/strong> new Cayenne Electric<\/strong>, which is shown here in disguise<\/strong> during an event in England<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porsche will apparently be selling both electric and petrol versions<\/strong> of the Cayenne side by side in certain markets, while other markets will only get one version. We believe Mzansi<\/strong> will be getting both. Running on the company\u2019s new Premium Platform Electric<\/strong> (PPE) will run 800V<\/strong> systems, reducing battery weight, increasing performance<\/strong> and range.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
