JLR<\/strong> started their electrification<\/strong> journey way back in 2019 when Jaguar unveiled the i-PACE<\/strong> to the public, following a few years of development<\/strong>. That car set the tone for the company going forward, culminating in the controversial Type 01<\/strong><\/a>, the upcoming, super powerful<\/strong>, super expensive electric Jaguar. Now the Land Rover<\/strong> side is following on the full-electric electric<\/strong> path, with this new Range Rover GT.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the Range Rover GT will initially be launched as a full-electric<\/strong> car, at some point later it will carry a plugin-Hybrid<\/strong> powertrain. \u201cThe Range Rover GT will redefine<\/strong> the grand-touring segment with the ability to deliver beautiful and engaging GT poise,\u201d said Martin Limpert<\/strong>, Managing Director, Range Rover. \u201cProportions<\/strong> and long-distance refinement<\/strong> while offering capabilities no conventional GT can match. We have spent the last few years working obsessively<\/strong> on the fundamentals of the GT formula, reinterpreted in a sophisticated<\/strong>, uniquely Range Rover way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These camouflaged<\/strong> pictures show a silhouette<\/strong> that harks to the Velar<\/strong>, with that sleep Coupe-like flow<\/strong>. Range Rover says the interior \u2013 while being abundant with sustainable materials<\/strong> \u2013 remains highly advanced in terms of the tech in use. The company also assures that legroom<\/strong> and space in general, are not at a premium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We currently don\u2019t have much to go on in the powertrain<\/strong> department, but will assume<\/strong> the GT will share<\/strong> some components<\/strong> with that Jaguar Type 01.
