BMW <\/strong>will install the “Neue Klasse”<\/strong> design philosophy on over 40 models<\/strong> in the next two years. The new iX3<\/strong> – pictured – is the first BMW to use this language, along with the hi-tech<\/strong> that goes with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the second “Neue Klasse” period for BMW. The first was between 1962 <\/strong>and 1972 <\/strong>when the company was facing extremely bleak<\/strong> times and had to take drastic survival<\/strong> measures. Currently they are in the second reiteration of the concept, with design <\/strong>and technology <\/strong>leading the way. As such, you will see the new iX3 sporting a different front grille<\/strong>, rear end and interior. Many of the upgrades <\/strong>are beneath the surface <\/strong>as well where the eye cannot reach.
