Jetour<\/strong> is set to launch two baby products in Mzansi<\/strong> this month. The two cars \u2013 named T1<\/strong> and T2<\/strong> \u2013 will be sharing the same powertrain<\/strong> and are positioned above<\/strong> the Dashing<\/strong>, which was launched in Mzansi<\/strong> in 2024. However, the T1 is shorter (at 4.7 metres<\/strong> long), lower and narrower than the T2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Jetour SA, the T1 that will be available at launch is the 2.0-litre petrol-powered<\/strong> one that features the all-wheel-drive (AWD<\/strong>). Power is quoted at 187kW<\/strong> and 390Nm<\/strong>, actuated by an 8-speed automatic<\/strong> transmission. Jetour admits that the T1 is not an all-out off-roader, but will be able to tackle some mild bundus<\/strong>.
