Ferrari<\/strong> has just completed a new testing track<\/strong> in Maranello<\/strong>, Italy. The track has been specifically built to simulate<\/strong> as much of real-life as possible. It is situated adjacent<\/strong> to the company\u2019s fabled Fiorano track that is used for testing all Ferrari cars, including Formula One<\/strong> racing cars. According to Ferrari, the new track took just four months<\/strong> to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its surface area is measured at 37 351 square metres<\/strong>, with the overall length set at 1 887 metres<\/strong> or 1.89km. Other features include a 600m straight<\/strong>, lane widths that vary from 6 to 14m<\/strong>, as well as a 1 000 square metre workshop<\/strong> in the vicinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe track is divided into a series of sectors<\/strong>, each dedicated to a specific aspect of performance and driving pleasure: two wide curves with banking<\/strong> and longitudinal slope, a central straight<\/strong>, and handling<\/strong> curves dedicated to the study of dynamic behaviour<\/strong>,\u201d says an official statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
