Turns out Audi<\/strong> is working on a bigger<\/strong> car than the Q7<\/strong>. Tentatively called the Q9<\/strong>, the car will feature three rows<\/strong> of seats, measure longer<\/strong> and wider<\/strong> than the already large Q7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As these spy pictures<\/strong> show, the Q9 shows the new\/ current face of Audi with that singleframe grille<\/strong>, as well as those Matrix LED<\/strong> headlights. The side profile shows the long wheelbase<\/strong>, large wheels, panoramic sunroof<\/strong>, and what looks like retractable door handles<\/strong>. At the rear end we see four exhaust tailpipes<\/strong> or tips, suggesting that this is a more performance-focused<\/strong> model, possibly to be labelled S Q9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of performance, the Q9 seems to be using an engine for propulsion<\/strong>. It would not be completely run by that powertrain<\/strong>, as some kind of hybrid<\/strong> system will be attached. Nevertheless, we expect a V-shaped<\/strong> engine under the bonnet<\/strong>. The Q9 seems far ahead in terms of its development, as these spy pictures<\/strong> were taken at Germany\u2019s Nurburgring Nordschleife<\/strong>.
