Toyota<\/strong> is rebooting<\/strong> the iconic FJ Cruiser<\/strong> brand in the form of this compact unit. Called the Land Cruiser FJ<\/strong>, the vehicle is also being considered<\/strong> for the Mzansi<\/strong> market, which to us basically means it will without a doubt, be offered here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going for that boxy shape in terms of design, Toyota is gunning<\/strong> for the current crop of boxy compact<\/strong> SUVs, some of which are also off-road<\/strong> capable. It measures 4.6 metres<\/strong> in length, 1.8m tall, 1.9m wide<\/strong> and has a wheelbase of 2.6m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch powertrain includes 2.7-litre naturally aspirated<\/strong> engine with about 120kW<\/strong>, although we are not sure this would be the same engine<\/strong> offered here in Mzansi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
