While BYD<\/strong> has not yet stated the car\u2019s power figure<\/strong>, its new Atto 2 DM-i<\/strong> will sure impress<\/strong> with a different set of numbers<\/strong>. Set to launch internationally<\/strong> in the next few weeks, the sub compact SUV features a hybrid<\/strong> system similar to the one used by the Seal U DM-i<\/strong> to return some really good<\/strong> numbers and set itself apart from would-be competitors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because it has a petrol<\/strong> and power battery<\/strong> component, the car is a hybrid<\/strong>, with plug-in<\/strong> capabilities. All that BYD will confirm is that the Atto 2 DM-i can travel up to 90km<\/strong> on electric power<\/strong> only, using its battery system. The best piece<\/strong> of information though, is that it is apparently capable of 1 000km<\/strong> range when both the petrol tank<\/strong> and battery pack<\/strong> are full<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is very impressive<\/strong> for a car of its size, which is similar in size<\/strong> to the likes of GWM Jolion and Toyota Urban Cruiser.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
