As such, the company will <strong>no longer<\/strong> be offering the <strong>2.2-litre bi-turbo diesel<\/strong> powertrain in its <strong>Everest<\/strong> and <strong>Ranger<\/strong> models going forward. At the same time, a <strong>new motor<\/strong> is being added for those who like more <strong>petrol power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"817\" src=\"https:\/\/in4ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2500Hidden-HandsInspection3-1024x817.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-778\" srcset=\"https:\/\/in4ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2500Hidden-HandsInspection3-1024x817.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/in4ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2500Hidden-HandsInspection3-300x239.jpg 300w, https:\/\/in4ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2500Hidden-HandsInspection3-768x613.jpg 768w, https:\/\/in4ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2500Hidden-HandsInspection3-1536x1226.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/in4ride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2500Hidden-HandsInspection3.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With the <strong>exit<\/strong> of the bi-turbo diesel, Ford will keep its <strong>3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel<\/strong> in the market, and actually expand it into other models that have previously not had it before. It will sell alongside the <strong>single<\/strong> turbo <strong>2.0-litre turbo diesel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For petrol lovers, Ford says it will add the <strong>2.3-litre EcoBoost<\/strong> petrol engine that has done <strong>diligent duty<\/strong> in the <strong>Mustang<\/strong>. The <strong>4-cylinder<\/strong> engine with an aluminium block and turbo produces some <strong>222kW<\/strong> of maximum power, as well as <strong>452Nm<\/strong> of pulling torque.
