Lepas is a Chery company. One of a several in fact. Lepas has already been confirmed for arrival in Mzansi in 2026, with this pictured L4 leading the charge. The L4 – unveiled in Asia recently – is the entry-level model in the lineup, and will go up against a number of such SUVs already plying their trade in the country.
“From Lepas’s independent global launch in April, to L8‘s global debut in June, and to L4’s rollout in just 90 days – 90 days, three campaigns, three milestones. We have demonstrated to the world that Lepas is not only a vanguard of Chery globalisation strategy but also a trendsetter reshaping the global market pattern with ‘Chinese efficiency’,” said Zhong Wei, Deputy CEO of Lepas, at the launch.
