Believe it or not, BMW is already working on an updated version of the current M5 super sedan. And this will not be a minor update mind you. Remember, the company has announced its “Neue Klasse” design language that will carry forward the brand into the next decade. The first recipient of this will be the X3. The 5 Series will probably be one of the earlier recipients as well, hence the looks of this M5.

Have a look at the front grille as the main highlight. That double kidney grille seems to flow seamlessly between the headlights. Of course the car is under disguise here, but there are bits that are visible to the imagination. Thankfully those four exhaust tailpipes have not disappeared with the times, and remain a prominent sight for the mature enthusiast.
Since we don’t know if power will be affected, we can only speculate that the M5 will receive a bump, especially now that its two main rivals are said to be lurking in the 600kW region.
