AUDI Q9 SPOTTED TESTING

Turns out Audi is working on a bigger car than the Q7. Tentatively called the Q9, the car will feature three rows of seats, measure longer and wider than the already large Q7.

As these spy pictures show, the Q9 shows the new/ current face of Audi with that singleframe grille, as well as those Matrix LED headlights. The side profile shows the long wheelbase, large wheels, panoramic sunroof, and what looks like retractable door handles. At the rear end we see four exhaust tailpipes or tips, suggesting that this is a more performance-focused model, possibly to be labelled S Q9.

Speaking of performance, the Q9 seems to be using an engine for propulsion. It would not be completely run by that powertrain, as some kind of hybrid system will be attached. Nevertheless, we expect a V-shaped engine under the bonnet. The Q9 seems far ahead in terms of its development, as these spy pictures were taken at Germany’s Nurburgring Nordschleife. As such, we believe it will launch in the European market in 2026.
