Audi reported total sales of 1 623 551 cars for 2025 in the global sphere, representing 2.9% fewer than it sold in 2024. Of these, 223 000 were fully-electric cars (EVs), mainly led by the new A6 e-tron (37 000 units) and the Q6 e-tron (84 000). That Q6 e-tron was previously promised to Mzansi by Audi South Africa executives for 2025, but it never arrived. Perhaps in 2026.

Simultaneously the company’s hi-performance division – Audi Sport – delivered 36 000 cars branded S and RS to customers worldwide. This is a drop of 13% from 2024, which Audi attributes to fewer available cars due to model changeover.

The leading regions for Audi in terms of sales were:
- China – 617 514
- Europe (excl. Germany) – 464 046
- Germany – 206 290
- North America – 202 143
- Rest of the World (including Mzansi) – 133 558
