Jetour is set to launch two baby products in Mzansi this month. The two cars – named T1 and T2 – will be sharing the same powertrain and are positioned above the Dashing, which was launched in Mzansi in 2024. However, the T1 is shorter (at 4.7 metres long), lower and narrower than the T2.

According to Jetour SA, the T1 that will be available at launch is the 2.0-litre petrol-powered one that features the all-wheel-drive (AWD). Power is quoted at 187kW and 390Nm, actuated by an 8-speed automatic transmission. Jetour admits that the T1 is not an all-out off-roader, but will be able to tackle some mild bundus. That large 70 litre fuel tank would come in handy as well for such trips.
