BREAKING: New car sales! According to automotive industry body naamsa, the Mzansi automotive industry sold 53 455 new vehicles in February. This was the highest February sales figure since February 2013. These sales are also higher than January 2026 sales of 50 521 units, and include segments such as Passenger Cars, Light Commercial Vehicles and Heavy Commercial Vehicles. The sales numebers were as follows:
