AUDI CONFIRMS BIG Q9

Following the latest spy shots taken late last month, Audi has officially confirmed that it is working on its biggest SUV yet. Called the Q9 (some media are calling it Q9 Horch), the brand’s range-topper will sit above the already-large Q7. Just like the Q7, the Q9 will sport 7 seats and a current-Audi interior, focusing on rear passenger comfort. It goes to market in Europe and other markets in 2026.

Audi did not mention what types of powertrains will be available for the Q9. However, it would make sense that they go with petrol, Hybrid and fully-electric versions, since diesel has been declared an evil force in Europe.

At the same time, the Q7 itself will go into a new generation, with a design that is more in line with current Audi SUVs like the new Q3 and Q5. Lastly, a new baby electric car is set to launch as well.
