Ferrari has just completed a new testing track in Maranello, Italy. The track has been specifically built to simulate as much of real-life as possible. It is situated adjacent to the company’s fabled Fiorano track that is used for testing all Ferrari cars, including Formula One racing cars. According to Ferrari, the new track took just four months to complete.

Its surface area is measured at 37 351 square metres, with the overall length set at 1 887 metres or 1.89km. Other features include a 600m straight, lane widths that vary from 6 to 14m, as well as a 1 000 square metre workshop in the vicinity.
“The track is divided into a series of sectors, each dedicated to a specific aspect of performance and driving pleasure: two wide curves with banking and longitudinal slope, a central straight, and handling curves dedicated to the study of dynamic behaviour,” says an official statement.
